Franklin River Rafting in Spring

“A good river is nature’s life work in song.”

― Mark Helprin, Freddy and Fredericka

Some of our spring Franklin River rafting trip highlights. Spring (October till mid December) is our favourite time to raft the Franklin River. Why, you may ask? Generally we get regular rain events, daylight hours get longer each day and there is loads of spring blossom all over, with the intricate bright red Tasmanian Waratah being our favourite. Pink Robbins tend to roam around the riverbanks more regularly and best of all it’s too early for mosquitos.

A big thanks to all the intrepid rafters and our guides. Be safe out there!

Happy New Season!
